Learning and development are frequently planned and delivered within a specific context.   • They are entrusted with the responsibility for HR decision making within an organization at various levels, particularly at the operational, strategic, and tactical levels.
  • Are HR professionals working in a team or in an HR functional management role who want to improve and advance their professional competency and career?
  • Are in the HR department and want to join the CIPD as a professional member. This and other core modules are required for professional membership in the CIPD.
  • They are not employed by any organization but instead work as consultants to help organizations achieve their goals and objectives.

What is the Assessment Criteria?

Learners are evaluated using various methods to ensure that the learning outcomes are met in a way that improves their learning experiences. As a result, summative assessment is used to assess 50% of the module learning outcomes. The remaining learning outcomes are assessed through activities such as teaching, learning, and formative assessment. Among these activities are:

Furthermore, in centres that have been approved for this method of assignment, a competency-based assessment may be used. They must, however, have occupationally competent assessors. In addition, they must select approved activities from the CIPD Assessment Bank or create their own.

Similarly, all centre-marked assessments must be moderated by an outside party to ensure that standards are judged compared to internal and external benchmarks.
