Professional Development Plan (PDP)
Students enrolled in the CIPD Level 5 5CO03 unit are required to complete the Professional Development (PDP). It is a document that lists the prerequisite knowledge, abilities, and goals that professionals must meet to manage their deficiencies. Professionals are guided by PDP as they choose the actions they will take to achieve their career goals and objectives.
How to create your PDP
The processes listed below should be followed by professionals to create their PDPS:
- Describe their current state as a professional
- Create a career plan.
- Determine your strengths and shortcomings as a professional
- Choose initiatives or engagements to address weaknesses
- Recognize the resources required to finish the tasks.
- Establish the success parameters.
- Lay up a precise timetable for achieving the goals.
